Those are very nice indeed...........Four MORE reasons why I could never own a fly shop or anything remotely connected to the fly fishing genre........
Soft and wet - the only way....

LOL--classic junkie, you'd snort all your profits, huh? Like pretty much all the rest of us.
Stay safe. Stay home. Tie flies.

Just got off the phone with Jim. Got a couple of those bad boys headed my way. It's no longer a question of need, but want.

My purple (yes, purple) and dun capes arrived. Great colors and a great value. Off to the bench.

Purple in April. Reminds me of my grandfather who used to fish the Veazie Salmon Pool in April with the most gawd-awful monstrosities, purple being prominent, in hopes of landing a Presidential Salmon. That's why we don't have any Salmon in the Penobscot to this day, the color purple scared them all off.Ron Eagle Elk wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:41 am My purple (yes, purple) and dun capes arrived. Never thought of that. I will refrain from fishing them in the Penobscot, in hopes of speeding salmon recovery in the river. I can't promise not to drop some purple bombs into the local streams and beaver ponds though. My wife caught her best brookie last year on a Madison Cabbage.

That's awesome! I have good friends who swear by it; I just swear at them. I understand this whole purple thing is my fly fishing cross to bear...
