Ray..that's the site I searched to find the color... I looked at all 225 colors to try and figure it out... I may have to look a little more closely as its hard to really see the colors on the site.
thanks for the look, though and Dubbn... I'll send you a pm and take you up on the offer. I'm in love with those flies.

I clicked on the upper link that was provided I saw the color groups
to the left and clicked on the Green family, Most Houseflies are a
kinda Green (IMO), so I checked it out and (on MY screen), this one
appears to be a close match.

bar jeopardy... here in Oregon our esteemed Governor (gay, bi,female, lib, democrat) has ordered all the bars closed due to the virus...so no trivia here for a while.
But, thanks for the attempts to locate Dubbn's mysterious "house fly" colored Madeira.... that green has some potential...I know the fish wont eat the fly with any other color rib...

Re: Bug Gut Caddis
I went by the shop where I bought it a few years ago. No good. They do not sell Madeira anymore. I have my sister looking in the Metro Denver area. She is a seamstress and may get a few leads.ronr wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 8:00 am bar jeopardy... here in Oregon our esteemed Governor (gay, bi,female, lib, democrat) has ordered all the bars closed due to the virus...so no trivia here for a while.

You are correct, it will not matter to the fish.
Bars are closed here as well.
