Brilliant dressing, Ray. Looks like a fairly straight forward dressing. I'll be stealing this pattern, thank you very much.

Well there! ...a worm pattern I can get behind. Very nice, Ray. And thank you for posting a pic of the yarn baggie! I've wanted a handful of different Jamieson's wools, but didn't want to buy a whole skein. I bookmarked the FlytyingYarn site. Thanks!

Mike - I went crazy and bought a whole bunch of colors of the yarn from the Fly Tying Yarn website. They do a nice job on the packaging. Each packet of yarn is labeled with the Jamieson’s Spindrift number and color name. I really love tying with the Spindrift yarn. The lime color seemed just right for the rock worm imitation.
Dana (Theroe) recently showed me a photo of the stomach contents of a trout he caught. The fishes stomach was gorged full of rockworms (rhyacophila fuscula). After seeing the picture, I headed straight to my vice to tye up a “hatch” of them for my spring box.

John - Those are outstanding! I especially like the look of the segmentation, bi color dorsal and swimming tail. Do you have a tying tutorial on your website?

I took the easy way and tied some “Green Weenies”! Red heads float, green heads sink.
