Thread - 8/0 UNI-Thread (Rusty Dun)
Tag/Rib - Ultra Wire / Size SM (Silver) - I was out of silver and substituted gold
Abdomen - Kreinik Soie Platte Silk (#1734/Medium Grey)
Thorax - Three Strands of Ostrich Herl (Natural Grey)
Hackle (tip tyed) - Hungarian Partridge (Dyed Dun)

For those days when you want a drab pattern (gray overcast skies/gray fly). Nothing flashy, but hopefully splashy!

That will surely Gett'r Dun (yea, I see what you did there.). Great colors, clean dressing. I think I like the gold over the silver, but that's just me.

Ken - No. Carl (Old Hat) dyed this skin for me several years ago (Thanks Carl). Sylvester Nemes often used dun dyed partridge in several soft hackle patterns. I’ve been using this hackle in a lot of patterns. I just love the appearance of the darker legs (hackle fibers).
