I fish very few dry flies but when I do, it's usually my variation of a Crackleback (I believe that a similar Halford dressing was called an Olive Palmer) or a Red Palmer.

But since this a basically a wet fly forum, what is the opinion of posting an old dry fly dressing from T. E. Pritt?

17. RED PALMER.
HOOK – No. 1
BODY – Green herl from a Peacock, with a red cock's hackle wrapped over it.

When I have asked myself this question, I’ve tended to post in the fishing cabin or member photo section of the forum. I don’t generally tye dry flies, but do fish them when conditions are right.
