Tom - Are you forming a tapered underbody, before wrapping the body? How are you forming that nice carrot shaped body? Lovely proportions. The short tail fibers remind me of Skues "whisks".

Ray the shape is formed by dubbing very lightly on the thread almost touch dubbed and then a gradual build up to the thorax.
Dana the body is seals fur dyed A very light golden brown and mixed with light olive. The thorax is mole from my garden. Most of my seal fur is ancient bought in the Beaverkill angler years ago.It is of very good quality. I just ran out of Natural so I've ordered some from England. Hoping for the best. Oh and the hook is an Allcocks sproat w205 size 14.
Tom.

I get my seal dubbing from Feathersmc.com (
https://feathersmc.com/product-category ... -and-more/ ). I really like the kid goat dubbing as well. Really long fibers and great colors.
