Am not sure it's worthy of that praise!
Just tied the one after thinking about the construction, over the weekend.
Have never used one, just admired the pattern for some time.

Thank you for the kind comments and I think you're all too generous. Hank, it might be a while before something hangs off the pointy end! We're marching off into Autumn as you eye up spring.
On a NZ fly tying site, someone posted a Killer Bug.
Oh no, that's got me keen.
Both William Anderson and Jeff Smith sent me wool samples and I'm keen to get them out now.

KBs are a good fly. I use them a fair bit each season. I've got about 1.5 metre of 477 left..... I have to look around for a substitute as don't really want to have none left......
