Lovely wee flee. I love seeing the Irish Loch flies.
Questions:
- Would this be considered a "bumble" pattern?
- Is the body hackle honey dun? It looks more cream colored to me, than dun colored. Perhaps the background color is affecting the appearance of the fly. Dun is a tough color to photograph.
- Could you share a link to the Irish website?

Ray,
The hackle's from a Collins dyed dun cape; not very dark, kinda has a bronze cast to it. Here's the fly with the standard grey background
Probably would be considered a Bumble; looks like some others I've seen, although I'm not sure what the definition of one would be. Here's where I found the pattern

Thanks Scott. Those Collins hen sets are terrific. With the bronze tint, I'd be tempted to call that one a honeydun. The extra photo is sharp as a tack! Perfection.
Thanks for the link. I'm glad I asked. I will poke around a bit on that site. Looks like some beautiful fishing flies.

Scott, this is another meaty offering. Such a nicely tied fly. There's a lot going on and your execution is always impressive.
