hot spot - hot orange egg yarn
thorax - peacock herl

Yes, nice, but I can't see any black tips in the hackle. They should be there, says the trout. Or, maybe, Datus Proper.

What material did you use for the hotspot? Is that egg yarn, or UNI-Stretch?
