That'll fool some fish. I remember fishing with Letumgo on the firehole last year and a Flav emergence was coinciding with PMD's.. wish I had this fly when those Flav's popped. Looks great!

That was a great day...

Thank you Charlie, for sharing a proven pattern with us. Lovely Flymph. Do you fish this with other flies (team), or as a single fly? What is you favorite method to fish this?

Ray,

I usually fish an emerger 18-24" behind an indicator fly. So I might have an a Flav dry fly (Sparkle Dun usually) with the Flav Flymph trailing behind. I have been known to tell other fishermen that the secret is the distance between the two patterns rather than try to explain what a flymph represents :-)

I'll fish this pattern right in or just under the surface film dead drift.

What time of the year did you guys fish the Firehole?
