A pattern from the Canadian Llama Company (Face Book)

"Old Favourite
Here is a nice little wet fly out of the past and from the UK.It was called Old Favourite by a Dr.E.S Roberts. Their recipe for the body is, Body:Mixture of claret coloured wool and hare's ear,dubbed
Hackle:Brown partridge back feather"

I used Claret 75% and Black 25% synthetics. on a size 12, Mustad 3906 hook.

That is a first class tie on the variation, I think it would work well for a Mahogany dun. 8-)

Those are really nice. I have always done well with that color body. The texture in these are really buggy.

Wayne, this is a nice set. I love this overall proportion and the body blend is a nice effect. These should be great.

DUBBN, Howdy;

Wayne, do you find yourself taking more time to tye each fly while you are
recovering from the knee surgery? I ask as it appears that you are becoming
more detail oriented with the results. Not griping, just an observation. These
are some of the best flies I've seen.

By the way, how is your rehab. going?
