Dearest Chase Creek,
Splendid! The red ribbing is great against the muskrat and will trigger takes from fish world-wide! Please send them to all our friends everywhere (including me) for a fair field trial and positive feed back!!

I especially like the abdomen, Rodger. Is that rib a single strand of thread and if so, what kind?

I agree with Doug. That pattern has Universal appeal. Your execution of the technique is spot on! A pattern like yours, with the Red rib is one that I would choose for deep water nymphing. Any water over 4 feet deep.
Great tye sir,
Wayne

How do you find the '..hookability.. ' of the 200? It's a hook that has a bit of a rep I believe..

Hi Johnno,
Have never had any issues with the 200R on the water. I fish mostly for Brookies on small streams, so no "trophy" size fish., other than a 14" Brookie - a giant on that particular small stream.

I really like the proportions and profile of this fly, Rodger. The longer curve of the shank adds a nice natural insect-like quality to the profile. Nicely done.
Man, that 14" brookie must have been a thing of beauty. Congratulations.
