Nick's Softhackle PMD Emerger

Minor variation on Nick Nicklas' pattern (subbed duck fluff for ostrich thorax and dyed partridge for mallard tail). Missed the hatch in 2014; hope to fix that this year.
hook - TMC 100 #16
thread - UTC 70 hopper yellow
tail - partridge dyed lemon yellow
abdomen - gold mylar
thorax - mallard flank fluff dyed lemon yellow
hackle - partridge dyed lemon yellow

Wouldn't surprise me if it got mistaken for a sulfur either. Nice tie, for certain.

Nice to see the fluff: it will move like crazy, yet it seems to be an underutilized material.
