This is following in my Jedi Flymph Master's footsteps, Bill Shuck. (Star Wars fans should get that reference.)
This is my take on the Pete Hidy March Brown Flymph. I put a little more orange into my dubbing mixture. I used gold wire as my ribbing.

Mustad 94842 size #12
Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer Orange #19 Silk
Tail: Partridge
Body: mixture of orange and brown wool with Hare's Poll. Spun on Pearsall's Gossamer Orange #19 Silk on a Clark block.
Rib: UNI French Oval wire medium
Hackle: Partridge

Very nice Paul. I'd fish that without a doubt.

I like everything about this fly. Like the hook. Is that model still available?

I saw that hook model at Sportsmans Warehouse in Grand Junction Colorado. They have them for sale online from sizes 18-12, 5.29/50

The Mustad Signature series R50/R50U hooks are the "new and Improved" version of the old 84940/94842 hooks, but they are not the same. The shank length is slightly shorter, the point is a different shape, and the color is not the same. I still very much prefer the old style hooks, and would really appreciate any good leads on where I can purchase some in sizes 12-16.
