Not really. Just playing around but, here is my interpretation of an Atherton's Dark Nymph tied flymph.

I've missed seeing your ties buddy. Beautifully dressed harpoon, has a lovely flow to it. Good to see you're getting some time behind the vise, it's inspiring me to see if I can still tie a fly

Carl, I like the fly, what's not to like, but can you describe a bit about the Atherton fly and what you've done differently. I really don't know a lot about his fly design theory. If the timing is bad, no worries.

Atherton tended to use a medley of colors in dubbing mixes to get the shade he wanted. One of the dark nymph patterns he used kingfisher as the shellback or blue tinsel.
