Olive Starling & Peacock Kebari
Hook – Hook - Super Yamame Tenkara Eyeless Hooks (Size 7)
Thread – 8/0 UNI-Thread (Black)
Loop – Tenkara Level Line (Prepared by bending and flattening – tyed in the first 2/3rds of the body – Stagger cut of ends to augment body taper)Hackle – Starling Body Hackle (Dyed Olive)
Body – One strand of peacock herl (reinforced in thread dubbing loop and wound toward bend)
Whip finish at the bend (back end of fly)

Another very compelling Kekari. I never get tired of seeing them. And I love that you posted the pics and I know it's sometimes difficult to take all the steps to do it, so thank you for putting these up. I hope to see many many more, but you know someone was going to ask....materials

William - I just saw your question and added the pattern recipe. The loop eye is formed with TenkaraUSA level line. I used it to form a high-viz loop, to hopefully help me follow the progress of the fly in the water. It may serve as a hot spot, or may just spook the fish. Only a swim will prove how it works. (the fly...not me...)
