Hare's Mask and Partridge
PT and Partridge
OK. Make the children, wives and those with a sensitive disposition turn away.
Heresy Beadhead. (I don't remember what the body is, but it's probably rabbit dyed olive. Hackle is Pheasant shoulder)
This last one is more aimed at bass and bigger bream. Where I fish they really don't come up to the top often.

Kirk, those first two are Universal in my opinion. I can not think of a place where they would not work, and you did an awesome job on them! If you ever make it to Western Colorado, bring some of those bead heads, and some beer with you. I will make good use of both.

Kirk = I'd swear you took those three flies straight out of my fly box. I fish flies VERY similar to each of these. A "catching" trio for sure.

Thanks for the pat on the back. It does my heart good.
Ray, You can't turn your back on me for a minute!
Wayne, I've been wanting to tie a hare's ear soft hackle for a while, and finally just sat down and did it. The PT spun off of the March Browns I tied for the 22B swap. These ought to all be very good for the bream and small bass i chase in the creek and ponds. I just need the water to warm up about 10 or 15 degrees. (Many more of these 70 degree days, it won't be long.
)
Kelly, I can't choose between 2 of my children! That wouldn't be right!
(I think that will be the first of these I tie on. Shhh!)

Kirk,
These little beauties make it look like you tie hare's ears every day.
Like you, I have mostly bass water locally, so that bead head appeals to me also. Nice taper to the body on that one.
Thanks for posting.
