Hook: Mustad Signature R50, size 14
Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer silk, yellow
Hackle: Partridge
Body: Tying thread
I am going to display these flies along with many other spider and soft hackle patterns, and maybe sell a few, at a regional fly tiers show in Brookville, Indiana in January. Several other tiers are going to be a part of the event which is held to showcase the work they are doing, as well as raise funds so support the Brookville tailwater that flows through the small countryside town.

Great looking flies and nicely shot. The yellow is vivid, the mottled partridge crisp looking. You may stay
Thanks Tom - for sharing

Hi Tom,
Any chance of tying and posting a photo using the same materials with flattened thread then ribbed with twisted thread? If visiting the Brookville show, I'd invest in your ties before visiting the hot dog stand. That's high praise

Lovely flies, Tom. Very clean.
Do you have a link for the show in Brookville, or dates/times? I just looked and it's only about 3 1/2 hours from me. Easy roadtrip!

Hmmmm, not so sure about the doughnut van though.......
.
Nice neat rendition of a classic that I can relate to. This simple two material fly works well here, even with my untidy offerings!
Best of luck with the sales, hope you raise plenty for a good cause.

Silk looks so good when it is done right. Tom, you and a few others on this board are masters at it. Keep up the good work.
