Thread: Benecchi 12/0, black
Hackle: Hazel grouse breast feather
Rib: Polar flash, gold, twisted and graduated
Abdomen: Argentinean hare, light grey
Thorax: Argentinean hare, dark grey

Which grouse? Where on the bird.
Very striking looking fly.

When the time comes you may want to contact Olav Berg (
[email protected]) who occasionally posts here. He provided the Hazel Grouse feathers I use. Olav has some fine feathers for sale.
