Cos I'm and old bugger I love fishing Wet flies. Have used them since the Sixties. I find them deadly but also get great satisfaction form swinging them. Guess because they where used by my Father and Grandfather, wets often takes me into a nostalgic mood. Wanted to try some of those nice looking POP's that letumgo posted along with some Lessering spiders that worked nicely last year. Getting some tying done for myself after a winter of commercial ties mostly Steelhead flies for Shops and clients in BC. My home water is the Bow River in Calgary Alberta Along with a lot of great streams and lakes. I'll let you know How they work up here. The Lessering spiders are magic during the huge Caddis hatches we have up here. Have confidence the POP's will produce. On the big waters like the Bow River I swing wets with a Spey rod. Braces of 2 or 3 flies that produce browns in the mid 20" on a regular basis. My rod of choice is a Meiser Highlander in 4 wt. On the smaller streams I most often fish Bamboo and Glass with a Red wing as my go to rod.

There's no doubt in my mind, those flies will work great for you. Keeps us posted.

I got a big smile on my face when I opened your post. You did a terrific job on all of these flies. I'd love to hear how my POP flies work out for you. That sounds like some sweet water you fish on.

I see the POP flies but, are the others copper and gold wire wrapped flymphs with several turns for weight at the butt?

These are Lessering spiders, they are tied with a tag at the end of the body. The original pattern was a bit different with fine silver wire, this is my version that I use. I find the copper wire works better to copy local caddis colors. The heavier wire gives me nice sink for an upstream presentation. I normally fish this with a Lessering lift from the river bottom, or skimming through the riffles.
