I agree with Ariel, you are compiling a most impressive body of work with these videos.

Each looks so simple and effortless, like a Shakespeare sonnet. Perfect photography, no information left out, and a lean, soft-spoken narrative that guides us calmly through each step.

You are accurate and conscientious in giving credit to the originators of flies, when known. And you are a connoisseur of fine flies, tying materials, and techniques, backed up with a knowledge of aquatic entomology and fishing experience on the water.

One only has to look at the other fly-tying videos to see how extraordinary your talent is, for both tying and videography.

I do the clips because I like doing them. If they are seen to be of some use - so much the better.

I'd much rather be headed for Roscoe and wet my wading boots in the streams there this weekend. Those that are going - have a whale of a time. Bring back tall tales, big smiles and lots of pictures. Please.

One thing Hans has over the other video's of fly tying... he's fingernails are clean as well as his hands. Really Hans love the stuff and I'll keep watching.

Well done Hans. The world needs REALLY GOOD tying videos. Some of them are so difficult to follow.

We'll miss you in Roscoe but I'm planning on taking lots of batteries for my camera. The pics won't be as good as yours but they might be entertaining!
