Beautiful fly. Love the colour mix and the longer hackle. I believe it would look really inviting to hungry trout.

Outstanding abdomen/thorax on this fly--is the ribbing material laid directly on top of a dubbed underbody, or are you inserting a dubbing brush in the gaps of the ribbing? At any rate, wonderful fly construction... :)

Seriously, this style of pattern has been in the fore of my mind a lot lately. I just haven't set down to execute them yet. Nice to have such an ideal example here. I especially like the body shape begin maintained while bringing that ribbing over the dubbed body and just the right amount of dubbing exposed. beautfully done.
