Thanks guys,
Roadkill, I was thinking the same thing.
Mark, I with ya on the mohair, one of my favorite materials. Did you happen to visit the guy at the Boise show who has the mohair yarn on spools. Absolutely fabulous stuff.
Here is the link to his site. I've used it for years.
http://www.toppertackle.com/ The kid mohair is the stuff you want. The golden kid mohair is what I used on this fly. Wonderful silk chenille as well.

No, he was with his wife in the middle at the far end. Had a huge peg board with all his stuff. I got excited because I had only ordered from his website. I think it was his first show, but it was nice to see all the colors in person. I stocked up.

OK, i think i know who/what/where you mean........opposit end of the main entrance? btw 1., did you ever get a chance to talk with that guy Ray mentioned the other day who's real famous for his still water flies.........he was selling that old Oregon (Angler's Corner), brand of head cement and thinner that is the stuff that thins Sally's very well? He was set up on the wall near us. i'm not a fan of the cement itself that much, but the thinner is GREAT! Exactly what you need to thin Sally's....
btw 2., do you mean (when you say spools) the MoHair Uni sells? i have a few colors of it...........or are we talkin' another brand? Tkx.

Never did get to the thinner.
No, the mohair that Topper Tackle sells comes on these beautiful old style wooden spools. They are very cool and I have kept all mine to use later.

I do like the way you put a few scraggley bits of stuff together and transform them into a thing of Beauty.
