Hey Hans, all the patterns have clearly expanded everyone's thinking about what soft-hackled flies can be. Its hard to believe the variety that we've seen.

I have a question about this pattern. I liked some of the early patterns using the popper hackles and this one is nicely put together as well. But I'm curious about both the overall proportions of the pattern, and the potential use of the pattern. Any thoughts on the likely mobility or activeness of the materials for this pattern in contrast to the proportions that we are used to seeing? just curious.

It is called pushing bounderies 8-)

I tied a fair few different (wingless wet) patterns while at a show in Stockholm, Sweden, this past weekend.I plan to post the odd one over the next few days.
