My simple Soft Hackle is a life stage variation of a $3 dip...

Tail & Hackle- Whiting Natural Dun Hen

Looking forward to try it sometime with the dips in the Madison.

I like your variation a lot better than its namesake; the $3 Dip never really got my blood moving.

I will add this to my dips to be fished together, and I probably use my Bead Head Krystal dip more than the original.
