Hook – Knapek G or equivalent curved scud hook

Thread – Black

Head - Gold brass or tungsten

Weight – Lead/lead free wire

Tail - Rubber legs

Body - 2 strands of different color copper wire

Thorax – Sybai peacock spectra dubbing or peacock herl

Hackle - Hungarian partridge
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

Rocking pattern Norm! Looks like a good design for deeper pools and faster waters. Probably be useful for Euro nymphing as well.

Norm,
I know some local hogs (Bluegills) that would gobble this up in a heartbeat! I agree with Ray on its ability to get to the bottom of a moving column of water fast! Wonderfully designed Norm! As always, it's good to see your offerings!
