Same here, Steve. But I do wonder, as you've touch dubbed yarn to create the body, maybe you've created yet another soft hackle type. Beats me what to call it, but it's a very compelling result. Cool fly.

William, just hoping to qualify for Bill's new category ;) Much as I'd love to take credit, the yarn twist is an old method, I've only recently tried. Knowing you like to design twist bodies, you see the possibilities, I'm sure.

Ray, if that fly isn't working well, then you must be fishing it when the fish aren't eating anything. Looks like it would kill, fished during October caddis season, in my neighborhood. Very, very nice.
