Thanks so much, gang. I have fished a few lighter colored flymphs, but not just a creamy combination. It worked great and I enjoyed fishing this, especially on brighter days. It did great through fall and into winter. I'll definitely put a pile of these in my first box for spring.
This hackle is a very inexpensive hen that I got from a breeder I Iowa. His stuff is usually shorter hackes and webbier than most.
Seal seems to be the secret sauce in quite a few of my favorite patterns. I'm sure that will only get worse with time.
