I like the mark2 version, but I tend to look upon flies through a brown trout fishers eyes.......
The mark1 version I think would be a killer fly on Grayling (from what little I know of Grayling fishing).

Ooohhhh Yeahhh, They have the same buggy appearance, that I was after when I tied mine.

It looks to me you tied the Killer Tups 1.

I googled on chukar, saw the pictures and it looks like a French Partridge. Saturday I had a talk with the owner of Cookshill ( there was a little fly fair here in Holland and Cookshill was there also) and he said to me that he had not seen a Golden Plover for a year. Ruard & Wayne - After reading this thread, and looking at the flies I was inspired to tye some Killer Tups variations. I created four variations on the theme. I will try to post them tomorrow evening. Thanks for the inspiration. It was fun.
