Thanks for the comments all. I think mainly what Jardin was referring to was the color of the fly, which seems to be most often tied in red doesn't resemble any insect. Personally I thought crane fly when I saw it but it is buggy enough to not really matter to me.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
