I think you are confusing "tying style with tying design"
If that isn't the case, then crap, I don't think I have ever tied a flymph.

This pattern is so cool and so "insect-y" and, as the others have said, the twisted method of body making is out of this world! The pattern is just amazing Bill as is all the collective work from your talented hands! I am glad to see that you have sprung a new word into our vocabulary...Splymph! I think you are on to something! When you put forth new ideas and concepts, it is life changing for us and the entire fly tying and fly fishing world! Full steam ahead Bill!
