What a beaut, Ray. And I have a whole ball of that yarn, so there's plenty more for the asking!

I hope to see it in action this Fall!

Beautiful construction and composition. I need to get my head out of Montana and into some steelie patterns. That won't be easy.

Jon, perfect.

Ray,

Great looking fly-something new, different, and very exciting that they haven't seen before. Lots of movement. A seductive and subdued fly that should get some good grabs in a few months!

Well done!

That's simply masterful, Ray. Another true original for your arsenal.

That looks really nice Ray. I do like the subtle colors. Surprisingly good quality ostrich on that duster too.

Ray -

As I mentioned to you, I can't seem to find the ball of that yarn that I know is somewhere in my tying area, so I went today to A.C. Moore, where I got the original skein, to pick some up for you. I was unable at first to find it there -- and then I found a bunch of similar yarn in the markdown bin for $1. Unfortunately, there was none of the color that I was looking for.

This is what the yarn originally looked like, just with the brighter yellow to orange to that funky purple.

Perhaps, if there's an A.C. Moore somewhere near you, you might have some luck? (I was at the one on Niagara Falls Blvd.).

With apologies,

Ray,
Oh my! It's a beauty! It has a certain "Tups" quality about it which is a good thing! I have been thinking about trying steelhead patterns and this one certainly gives me an incentive!
Fantastic pattern Ray! I will be a fan forever!
