Scarcity sparse. That's very Black Gnat-esque. Should make for a nice dropper.

Fantastic! I gotta get some of those hooks next week, when I visit the local fly shop. Perfect spider hooks.

Great photo too, Bill. ;)

Nice job taming the jackdaw hackle. When I have used jackdaw, it tends to be more "wild". Do you have any special tricks for managing the hackle?
