I thought all had relocated to Holland where they rival the Cormorants in number... :cry:

I was amazed, when I visited Holland last, how the herons populated the middle of Amsterdam. In the UK they are very shy birds...

The herons here in holland are shy to but when they see a flytdresser they give up their feathers voluntary,they know we feed them all winter then so they dont have to fly for food :lol:

I have some Heron feathers died with Corcuma (an indian spice), makes a very nice dark olive. :)
