While in a flyshop today, I found some Whiting Grizzly Hackle (Hen). Sure beats the stuff I have been using for the past 20 years. I dont use Grizzly enough, and now I know why. I have been using a cape that I harvested off a hen that I raised many moons ago. I use Whiting in almost every other color. Wish I had bought Grizzly aswell.

Hook - Mustad 3906B
Thread - 14/0 Sheer (?) Black

Collar- Whiting Hen Grizzly
I have no idea why I used a Brown tail and a Grizzly collar. Guess we can pretend that it's part of the master scheme.

Re: Grizzly and Olive
Great pattern Wayne. I think this would work beautifully as a damsel imitation for stillwater, as well as a general searching pattern. Congrats on the new materials.

Re: Grizzly and Olive
I actually like it with Grizzly hackle and a brown tail. Like Ray says, should be a good damsel pattern or general searching pattern. That would do very well in the hills out here with all the brookies. Nice work.
