Re: The Light Brown
Simply beautiful, the proportions are spot on! I also like the looks of your hook choice, they work well with this style.
Thanks for sharing , Mike.

Re: The Light Brown
Good stuff Bill. I’d fish that any day of the week. And twice on Sunday!

Re: The Light Brown
Bill, the patterns you have posted lately are amazing. Good form and techniques.
Your patterns look great, but more importantly they look like trout killers. More than any patterns posted of late.
Inspirational comes to mind.
Well done.

Re: The Light Brown
Thanks everyone but I think other anglers have already determined that these North Country flies have been worthwhile for a CENTURY or TWO.
I just want to try wading in their shoes a little more this year!

Re: The Light Brown
I think your fly looks fantastic and you'll like being in their shoes, so fish these flies hard when you can.
Re: The Light Brown
Bill,
I am in love.....with this pattern! So beautiful and we all know that if you knotted one of these on and gave it a toss, it would not last long! Your tying is impeccable!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.
