I post most of my tyings to an album on Flickr. I started doing this mainly because I tend to forget some of the dressings.

I post to Facebook. It works well for me.
I include the river, the patterns used, and any information that might be relevant.

The good thing in my opinion is, Facebook shows me what I posted on that day ever since I joined. It is a good little reminder.

My friends and family think I am nuts for posting it there. The truth is, I post the info as a reminder to myself. Not for them.

Having my FB settings set to pvt., prevents my posts from being used to hotspot local fisheries.

Great idea, Wayne. Lots of folks are doing that, they just don't set their page to "private", putting all the good spots on FB for all the world to see. Then wonder why their favorite spot is suddenly crowded and over-fished.
