There's a couple streams that I've fished that have lots of Red WInged Blackbirds that love to harass me as I walk to the waters. So, I decided to do a dressing in their honor. Tied a half dozen and each started looking better than the earlier ties. Her's a pic on one of the first I tied (my apologies for the sloppiness and wing position - the later ones do look a little better especially when I tied the hackle in by the butt and not the tip):
Hook - Partridge L2A size 14
Thread - Black silk
Wing - Dyed red duck quill
Hackle - Blackbird Sub (Black dyed Starling)
PS - A SUPER BAD PIC - SORRY !
