Absolutely gorgeous Joaniebo! So dreadfully (for the fish that is!) buggy looking! What have you got in mind? A particular hatch? My guess is yes, a hatch indeed!
Australian Possum is excellent dubbing! I have a "display" of various colors and quite a few packs dubbings! It's one of the greatest gifts we could receive from this great country!

Thanks for sharing these with us!

It’s a go to dubbing here in NZ - probably the most common - where the furry little bastards are regarded as a seriously bad introduced pest.
I have enough tanned and dyed to last me several dozen lifetimes...
It’s a traditional Kiwi pastime to run them down on country roads at night.. along with rabbits, hares, hedgehogs....
Many a young hunter has cut their teeth popping them off with a .22 in spotlights around farms at night...

As far as dubbing is AO is second only to beaver.

A local tyer, Jerry Criss of LaPine, OR ties a beautiful Possum hair nymph. He has a youtube video on www.theweeklyfly.com....I think you can search for his fly on the Weekly Fly it has a list of tyers to choose from..

One of my all-time favorites, it is highly versatile. And it takes dye well, too.

I have been using it for years. I bought some rusty orange AO from Fran Betters long time ago .
Really buggy material.
