Bronze Peacock & Young Starling

As the name applies, did these awhile back when I lucked into some bronze colored peacock herl with a few hackles from a young starling.

These look great! Some of the Brook and River Trouting flies use a thigh feather from a young starling. Have you ever tied any of them?

Looks great. I would use that in a second when the large midges start coming off in my waters.

Those look really nice how the copper pop's out like it does. What hooks were you using?

Most of the soft hackles I tie are on Daiichi #1550 hooks, #1530 if I want a slightly heavier hook.

These are delicious looking patterns for sure! I know they will kill! I have experienced their magical qualities many times and your patterns look exceptional as always!
