You will notice that I used Hans' Variant of Baillie's Spider didn't you. Easier for the beginning tier I think. That was made at the Albany, OR Tying Expo this past spring. I was nervous as all get out when they turned on the camera.

After tying at a couple shows this spring I've found a lot of people interested in tying wingless wets so I am happy to oblige them.

I Agree, I think you did a fine job. I noticed how you broke the thread just to make us all feel normal.--Thanks

RON,
I JUST GOT DONE WATCHING YOUR VIDEO ON "YOUTUBE". VERY IMPRESSIVE! YOU HANDLE THREAD AND MATERIALS QUITE WELL. I AM ALSO IMPRESSED WITH THE HOOK SELECTION. FOR ME, THE SHAPE AND FRAME OF THE IRONS WE CHOOSE CONSTITUTES A VERY IMPORTANT FEATURE OF THE FINAL LOOK OF THE FLY AT HAND. I ALSO THINK WE TEND TO FISH THESE PATTERNS WITH A LITTLE MORE CONFIDENCE WHICH GOES A LONG WAY IN STRIKING GOLD....OR SILVER AS IT WERE.
CAN WE SEE MORE VIDEOS OF YOUR TYING IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
IMPRESSED IN THE DEN,
DOUGSDEN

Thanks fellas. I was so petrified doing that one, I don't think I'll be getting in front of a camera again. Tying at a show is one thing, the camera is something else. Ruined my image of myself. I kept thinking "Who is that old guy?".
