Reversed Hackle Flies

Some of the traditional Japanese tenkara flies are also reverse hackled. I suspect it was to have the hackle "pulse" as the fly was worked (see first link).

Hi Guys;

Very interesting! I really like the look of soem of those, I'm going to have to tie some just to see how they react in the water.

I get the feeling a man could tie flies for the rest of his life and never tie one of everything!
