Silk---And Rayon

Post by John Dunn » Sat Mar 21, 2009 10:18 am

HI All

For you knowledgeable tiers out there. Their both shiny glossy but their is very little mentioned about rayon in place of silk. Its not hard to figure out silk is better but their is always a, in depth explanation ,it would be good to hear a few.

Silk, when wet, changes color and gains a certain translucency. If you used rayon in it's place, the wetted fly would look very different.
