T E Pritt's #50 - Curlew
I don't remember posting this previously. Here's pics of Pritt's "Curlew" using both suggested silk colors.

Re: T E Pritt's #50 - Curlew
I’m partial to the orange version.
Have you thought about framing a set of your Pritt flies? Seems like you’ve tied them all.

joaniebo, Howdy;
As an addendum to Ray's question, have you tried to emulate
Philip Storey's "Year of the Spider" yet or is it on your "To Do "
list? As always my curiosity generates the questions.

I’ve never heard of the year of the spider and I don’t have the talent to do any framing.

Bob,
What hankaye was referring to is Philip Storey’s book titled YEAR OF THE SPIDER , published in 2013. A small volume on tying and fly fishing diary pertaining to North Country Spiders on British waters. Storey also published an updated version of YORKSHIRE TROUT FLIES, by TE PRITT.
All the best. Lou
