An interesting little book I found recently....

John Stirling's "Fishing for trout and seatrout with worm and wet fly". A most interesting little read. (Particularly the worming bit - yet to catch a trout on one and by God I am going to one of these days 8-) ). Gave a little window into Scotland Loch and river fishing back in the "old days" .

Some nice writings around wet flies particularly what flies to use in certain conditions or certain months... And how to fish them. Tail flies, bobs, droppers. You know, things like that..

He also wrote an earlier volume "50 years with the rod" which is also has some interesting stuff in places.
