Would anyone be interested in tying up flies for donation to Casting for Recovery. If so please let me know either directly to this post or a PM. If possible I'd like you to either give yourself credit with full information included or give this website the credit. The flies will be used at the retreat in 2013 or auctioned off in order to absorb the cost for the participants. All staff are volunteers. This includes medical staff, organizers, coordinators and stream side guides, instructors and assistants.

Thank you
Ariel Levin

I'm in Ariel. This is something I was planning on working on over the winter. What is the date for this?

We don't have a date for the auctions yet or the retreat, but we're working on getting this off ground ASAP. As for the retreat that will take place sometime in September. By then the flies are usually BWO, Caddis, Scuds and Calibaetis.

John don't worry about how good they are. The fish don't count wraps or hackle, just have fun and thank you for joining in.

I'm in. I'm sure I can come up with something that will fit the bill. Would dry flies be okay?

Thank you all.
Each retreat will sponsor 14, free of charge. In addition there will be 10 staff members, all volunteers. You can tie as many flies as you please. You are gracious to help out. All of you!

Ariel, Misako and i have been tyin' for CFR (along w/ Reel Recovery, & Project Healing Waters every since their inceptions), every year since '99. The Catskill Fly Tyers Guild devotes one meeting a year to no other purpose than that, and our club down here does the same. So, be assured the flies are already headed to different retreats around the country.....and thankx for promoting these great causes. ;)
