No longer a virgin

Post by raven4ns » Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:36 pm

I caught my first 3 trout on a soft hackle PT and lost a couple more. It seemed like I was always a bridesmaid never a bride... . It would seem prudent to tie a few more PT's. As I catch more trout on Soft Hackles then I will increase the number of patterns that remain in my fly boxes. At this rate I am going to need a pack mule for my fly boxes... :D .
All the best,

Tim

Awesome! Couldn't have done on a better fly. A PT soft hackle will almost always produce just about anywhere.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Thank you Ray and Carl. I didn't think it was ever going to happen. Ray you have a way with a word  .

Aw, Jeez, Tim. Now your on the slippery slope of fly fishing. You'll soon be bankrupting yourself to obtain elusive wet fly hackles, silk threads, waxes of all types and colors, and hair from assorted critters you've never heard of. In other words, welcome to the club.
