Small Wheatley Fly Boxes

Post by joaniebo » Mon Jun 17, 2024 12:23 pm

Awhile back, I bought 3 or 4 of some small Wheatley swing leaf fly boxes that I really love. If I recall, they are approximately 4" tall and 3" wide, with a swing leaf between the two ends. Very lightweight and they hold mucho flies!

A while back someone here mentioned those boxes and I picked up a couple. Really nice boxes that should last several lifetimes.

Only saw those boxes in magazines as a kid, I sold night crawlers to support my flyfishing needs. ;)

The Perrine boxes were in my price range... :)
