A new book about Rube Cross by author Richard Lodge is now available.
The life story of Cross and the birth of the Catskill style of fly tying should be
an interesting read. Lodge spoke about Cross and his upcoming book at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center
last May during Lance Hidys presentation of his father.

I bought a copy directly from the author: Richard Lodge. It's a quick read; basically 80 pages with interesting color an b/w pictures. Only comes in paperback. I knew Cross in name only. Very influential in the early Catskill school. A very sad life!
