Dyed Wings

Post by joaniebo » Sun Nov 17, 2019 11:33 am

I may have posted these pics awhile back but the other post about dyed starling brought this to mind. Several pics of dyed wings that I obtained, mostly, years ago from Ellis Slater.

For some reason, I could add this to my previous post.

I picked up a nice landrail substitute (dyed starling) from Mike Hogue at Summerfest. Nice stuff.

Some substitutes from Flyhookfiller:

Blackbird sub, male and female, old stock from Veniard.

http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... 7-110.html Female.

Landrail: http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... 7-116.html

Swift: http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... 8-802.html

Condor sub, different colours: http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... 7-101.html
Condor genuine, different colours: http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... 20001.html

A lot of other materials as can be found to the left: http://www.flyhookfiller.se/flugbindnin ... jader.html

Most of it sourced from Veniard back in the days. The new owner of Flyhookfiller is building a new homepage but I suppose it will take som time. I have no affiliation, have just bought some synthetics from him a couple of years ago.
